Installing (Inner) B-Pillar Reinforcement

Information 

• Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
• The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
• Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 

1. Apply adhesive evenly over the marked bonding surface of the body. > Application depth 0.5 mm

2. Apply adhesive evenly in the marked area on the (inner) B-pillar reinforcement.

   > Application depth 0.5 mm 

   Also apply an adhesive bead of sealant all around the bonding surface. > Application depth 3 mm

3. Position (inner) B-pillar reinforcement on the body and secure it.
4. Screw in screws -1-  and tighten to > Tightening torque 40 (30 ft.lb) Nm  .

5. Screw in screw -1-  and tighten to > Tightening torque 4 (3 ft.lb) Nm  .
