Removing Side Member Reinforcement (Front Filler Plate)

  1. Loosen front filler plate.

    > 5X00IN23 REPLACING PUNCH RIVETS AND PENETRATED JOINTS

    Joints

    A Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - body dent removal system, aluminium  and > VAS 6790 - compact booster. 
    B Drill out penetrated joints using >Diameter 4 mm 
  2. Separate welded seams.

  3. Heat the marked bonding areas using > V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower  .

  4. Remove front filler plate.
