Installing closing element

  1. Apply adhesive on the joint area of the body.

    Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. > Application depth 0.5 mm 

    > 5X00IN21 WORKING WITH BODY STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE PAH.071.781.00

    Bonding area

  2. Apply adhesive to the closing element in area -A-  .

    Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. > Application depth 0.5 mm 

    Also apply a bead of adhesive all around the bonding surface. > Application depth 3 mm

    A Joint area for bonding and riveting.
    B Joint area for plug-welding.
  3. Securing closing element.
    1. 3.1  Rivet in the closing element in area -A-  . > BLIND RIVET 999.190.229.01  .
    2. 3.2  Plug-weld closing element in area -B-  .
