Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - body dent removal system, aluminium and > VAS 6790 - compact booster .

Punch rivets

Loosen hinge pillar from front roof frame at the top.

4.1 Unscrew self-tapping screw -1- .
4.2 Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - body dent removal system, aluminium and > VAS 6790 - compact booster .
> 5X00IN23 REPLACING PUNCH RIVETS AND PENETRATED JOINTS

4.3 Bend up sheet-metal bracket -2- .

Hinge pillar on roof frame

Grind off -A- welded seam in the B-pillar area.
