Preparing Cowl Panel For Installation

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle or a similar component.
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well.

1. Position cowl panel and secure it to the body.
2. Drill holes for blind rivets -A-  through both sheetmetal panels with > Diameter 6.6 mm  .

3. Punch holes for flow-form rivets in areas -B-  through both sheetmetal panels.

4. Drill holes for blind rivets through both sheetmetal panels with > Diameter 6.6 mm  .

5. Pre-drill holes for self-tapping screws -1-  .

6. Remove cowl panel.
7. Prepare marked areas -A-  for bonding and riveting.
