Preparing Upper Front Roof Frame For Installation

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle or a similar component.
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well.

1. Fit in upper front roof frame and secure it to the body.
2. Drill holes for countersunk rivets with appropriate diameter for rivet suitable for the package thickness.

3. Drill holes for blind rivets -B-  using > Diameter 6.6 mm

4. Cut flat plate section -1-  (18 x 18 x 1. 5 mm) out of lower part of old roof frame, place under the blind rivet and affix.

5. Remove upper front roof frame.
6. Prepare marked areas for bonding and riveting.
