Preparing Front Side Member (Front Section) (Coupe) For Installation

Information 

The measuring point for taking measurements is on the floor front section. Given this, the floor front section must also be secured for taking measurements, otherwise there will be a gap.

Some blind rivets do not have to be set until you are installing the floor front section.

1. Position front side member (front section) (Coupe) using the straightening bracket.
2. Drill holes for blind rivets in areas -A and B-  through both sheet metal panels with > diameter 6.6 mm  .

4. Drill bore holes for blind rivets through both sheet metal plates from the outside using > diameter 6.6 mm  .

6. Drill bore hole for blind rivets through both sheet metal plates from the outside using > diameter 6.6 mm  .

7. Remove front longitudinal member (front section) (Coupe) and floor front section.
8. Prepare marked areas -A-  on the front longitudinal member (front section) (Coupe) for bonding and riveting.

9. Prepare front longitudinal member (front section) (Coupe) in area -B-  for aluminium MiG welding.
