Removing Front Panel

Information 

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown.

1. Grind off welded seam -1-  .

2. Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - body dent removal system, aluminium  and > VAS 6790 - Compact Booster.

3. Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - body dent removal system, aluminium  and > VAS 6790 - Compact Booster.

4. Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - dent removal unit  and > VAS 6790 - Compact Booster.

5. Grind off welded seam -1-  .

7. Make a rough cut along the -Line-  in order to expose the bonding area.

10. Swivel out front panel to the front and remove it.
