Installing Seal For Sliding Roof

Prepare bonding surface.

1.1 Remove adhesive residue all the way around.

1.2 Clean bonding surfaces -1- with isopropanol.

Apply primer to the bonding surface -1- and leave it to dry off.

Position the seal.

3.1 Centre the gap in the seal -arrow- at the rear edge of the sliding roof.

Information

Pull off protective film from the adhesive tape in sections and at the same time press the seal onto the roof assembly with the help of another person.

Lift up the seal close to the gap, pull off protective film at the left and right and press on the seal.
Press the seal on without tension over its entire length in accordance with the contour of the sliding roof.
