Adjusting Sliding Roof (Locking Mechanism)

1. 1.1  Fit test gauge -2- > 9905 - Outer sunroof gauge  .

   Test gauge

   1. 1.1.1  Lift seal on sliding-roof panel -1-  using a plastic wedge.
   2. 1.1.2  Fit test gauge -2- > 9905 - Outer sunroof gauge  on sliding-roof panel.
   3. 1.1.3  Loosen knurled screw and push test pin -3-  downwards -arrow-  .
   4. 1.1.4  Tighten knurled screw.
2. 1.2  Check adjustment of sliding-roof panel.

   Adjusting sliding-roof panel

   1. 1.2.1  The head of the test pin -1-  must be in area -X-  .
   2. 1.2.2  Re-adjust if necessary.

Locking mechanism at centre position

1. 2.1  Loosen screws -1-  .
2. 2.2  Centre the locking mechanism -2-  . -X-  = -Y- 
3. 2.3  Tighten screws -1-  to > Tightening torque 4 Nm (3 ftlb.)  .

Adjusting locking mechanism in Z direction

1. 3.1  Loosen screws -1-  .
2. 3.2  Fit test gauge -3- > 9905/1 - Inner sunroof gauge  on retainer plate -2-  .
3. 3.3  Push retainer plate -2-  upwards until the test gauge -3- > 9905/1 - Inner sunroof gauge  is touching the sliding-roof panel.
4. 3.4  Tighten screws -1-  to > Tightening torque 5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.)  .
