Removing Padding For Front Seat

Remove backrest cover -2- .
1. 1.1 Unscrew and remove screws -1- .
2. 1.2 Unclip backrest cover -2- at the rear -arrow A- .
3. 1.3 Guide backrest cover -2- forward and remove it -arrow B- .

Passenger's side only:
Unscrew screws -1- and remove ISOFIX -2- .

Loosen cover for front seat -3- at the rear.
1. 3.1 Detach rear clamping strip -1- from cover holder -2- (-Arrows- ).
2. 3.2 Disengage restraining straps -4- from cover holder -2- .

Rear clamping strip
Guide cover for front seat -1- through towards the seat surface -Arrows- and cut cushion rings -2- .

Cover for front seat at the sides
Press cover for front seat -1- at the outside with padding for front seat aside -arrow- and unscrew screw -2- on the seat shell -3- .

Cover for front seat
Unscrew screws -1- and remove trim panel holder -2- . Lift up the seat shell to do this.

Disengage clamping strip at the sides -1- and detach cover for front seat -2- from the seat frame.

Only for vehicles without Adaptive sports seats Plus, 18-way (I-no. Q1J) or Fully electric sports seats, 14-way (I-no. Q2J):
Disengage front clamping strip -1- and detach cover for front seat -2- from the seat frame.

Unclip cover for front seat -1- from the fixing clips -2- .

Only for vehicles with Adaptive sports seats Plus, 18-way (I-no. Q1J) or Fully electric sports seats, 14-way (I-no. Q2J):
Detach padding for seat-surface extension -2- .
1. 11.1 Unscrew and remove screws -1- .
2. 11.2 Unclip padding for seat-surface extension -3- .
3. 11.3 Place padding for seat-surface extension -2- on padding for front seat -arrow- .

Padding for seat-surface extension
Only for vehicles with Adaptive sports seats Plus, 18-way (I-no. Q1J) or Fully electric sports seats, 14-way (I-no. Q2J):
Unclip seat cover -1- from the fixing clips -2- .

Fixing clips
Only for vehicles with heated seats (I-no. 4A3) and Adaptive sports seats Plus, 18-way (I-no. Q1J) or Fully electric sports seats, 14-way (I-no. Q2J):
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for seat-surface extension -1- and guide it out of the clip for the seat cover -2- .

Electric plug connection
Only for vehicles with heated seats (I-no. 4A3):
Disconnect electric wire harness for seat heating.
1. 14.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connection for seat heating -1- .
  Information
  
  Make sure not to trap or damage the wire harness when pulling it through.
2. 14.2 Guide electric wire harness out through the seat frame -arrow- .
