Installing Front Feat
WARNING:
Incorrect handling of safety bolts
- Danger of injury
- Loss of torque
→ Always use new screws or nuts following removal.
→ Comply with instructions for repairs.
→ Observe specified tightening torques.
→ Carry out a visual inspection of parts used.
Information
The routing of the wire harness for the control unit must be checked before installing the seat.
The wire harness must not be routed over the cover, but should be laid alongside the cover.
Information
Before installing and securing the front seat, make sure the electric lines are not pinched or damaged.
- Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
Tighten front screws securing seat rails to body to > Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ftlb.) .
Tighten screws securing seat rails to body to > Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ftlb.) .
