→ Protect adjacent components to prevent excessive heating.
- Heat the cover strip -1-
in the bonding surface area -2-
using > V.A.G 1416- Hot-Air Blower

Bonding surfaces
- Loosen cover strip -1-
using a plastic wedge and remove it.

Cover strip
- Remove adhesive residue from around the cover strip using silicone remover.
