Installing Number Plate Cover
CAUTION:
Possible malfunction of front assistance systems
- Number plate not fitted correctly.
→ Observe installation infections for number plate covers.
→ Do not use additional number plate holders for mounting the front number plate.
→ Only fit the number plate within the specified periphery.
→ Make sure that the number plate is fitted flat on the specified contact surface.
Information
Self-tapping screws are used to secure the number plate cover. When fitting the cover for the first time, screws can be screwed directly into the front apron. There is no need to drill any holes.
- Installation is performed in reverse order.
- 1.1 Align the number plate cover on the front apron using the recess as a guide.
- Tighten screws to > Tightening torque 0.8 Nm (0.5 ftlb.) .
- Tighten screws to > Tightening torque 0.8 Nm (0.5 ftlb.) .
- Tighten screws to > Tightening torque 0.8 Nm (0.5 ftlb.) .
- Tighten screws to > Tightening torque 0.8 Nm (0.5 ftlb.) .
