Removing Roof Joint Cover Strip (Sliding Roof Assembly)

Information 

The component cannot be removed without damaging it and must always be replaced.

Installation position

1. Cover the add-on parts adjacent to the repair area on the vehicle.
2. Cut off roof joint cover strip -1-  .

   Roof joint cover strip

   1. 2.1  Fold roof joint cover strip -1-  up -arrow-  .
   2. 2.2  Cut off roof joint cover strip -1-  using a Stanley knife.
   3. 2.3  Remove adhesive residue.
3. Cut off plastic clamp on the roof joint cover strip -1-  using a suitable tool and remove plastic clamp.
