Removing Radiator Grille

Information 

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown.

Installation position

1. Loosen wiring harnesses -1-  .

   1. 1.1  Disengage wiring harnesses -1-  from the holder -3-  .
   2. 1.2  Pull off expanding anchor -2-  .
2. Unscrew screws.

3. Disengage retaining frame for radiator grille -1from the locking lugs -2-  .

4. Loosen retaining frame for cooling-air flaps.
   1. 4.1  Lever off fastening clamp -1-  using a screwdriver. -arrow-

   2. 4.2  Disengage locking lugs -1-  . -arrow-

5. Disengage radiator grille -1-  from locking lugs -2-

6. Carefully lift up retaining frame for cooling-air flaps -2-  (-arrow A-  ) and guide radiator grille -1-  by pulling it up and out. -arrow B-
