Preliminary Work

  1. Only for SportDesign package and GTS: 

    Remove rear apron (trim side).

    > Refer to appropriate Bumpers article - information on "Removing" 

  2. Only for SportDesign package and GTS: 

    Remove air grille (centre of rear apron).

    >  WM, 660519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING RADIATOR GRILLE  - information on "Removing" 

  3. Remove wire harness for ParkAssist.

    975919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WIRE HARNESS FOR PARKASSIST - information on "Removing"

  4. Remove rear retaining strip at the centre.

    >  WM, 63575500 REPLACING REAR RETAINING STRIP AT THE CENTRE   - information on "Removing" 

  5. Remove rear skirt.

    > 636819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR SKIRT  - information on "Removing"

  6. Remove rear panel.

  7. Remove ParkAssist sensors.

  8. Remove number plate light.
