Preparing Hinge Pillar (Cabriolet) For Installation

  1. Fit in hinge pillar and secure it to the body.
  2. Drill hole for rivets. > Diameter 6.6 mm 
    1. 2.1  Countersink hole for blind rivets.

  3. Remove hinge pillar.
  4. Prepare marked areas for bonding, riveting, resistance spot-welding and full steel welding.
    1. 4.1  Prepare area -A-  for bonding, riveting and resistance spot-welding.

      > 5X00IN21 WORKING WITH BODY STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE PAH.071.781.00

    2. 4.2  Prepare area -B-  for full steel welding.
