Adjusting Lock Peg (Striker Pin)

Adjusting element to, striker pin

• The lock peg can be adjusted by changing the plasticity of the adjusting element in the B-pillar. 
• The setting is retained when the striker pin is removed. 

1. Loosen screws -1-  .

2. Adjust the lock peg -1-  outwards using > VAS 6965 - Puller set  (-arrow-  ).

3. Adjust the lock peg -1-  inwards/up/down -Arrows-  using a plastic hammer.

4. Carefully close the door and check that the lock peg is positioned correctly with respect to the lock.
5. Tighten screws to > Tightening torque 25 Nm (19 ftlb.)  .
