Installing Front Power Windows Mechanism

Adjusting screws for power windows mechanism

• Do not turn adjusting screws -1- during the fitting procedure. 
• The adjusting screws -1- on the power windows spare part are preset. 

1. Insert front power windows mechanism into basic door frame.
   1. 1.1  Fold up front power windows mechanism -1-  . -arrow-

   2. 1.2  Insert front power windows mechanism -1-  through the assembly opening into the basic door frame, -arrow-

   3. 1.3  Position front power windows mechanism.
   4. 1.4  Make sure that the cables are arranged in the position shown. The cable guide with protection -1-  must be positioned before the cable guide without protection -2-  .

2. Fold up front power windows mechanism and insert it through the assembly opening into the basic door frame.
3. Tighten nuts.
4. Tighten nuts -1-  .

   Nuts

   1. 4.1  Tighten nuts -1-  hand-tight.
   2. 4.2  Tighten nuts to > Tightening torque 9.7 (7.2 ftlb.) Nm  .
