Removing Control Unit For Lane Change Assist

Information 

Lane Change Assist must be re-calibrated after carrying out the following work on the vehicle:

• When one or both Lane Change Assist control units are replaced. 
• When the installation position of one or both Lane Change Assist control units is changed. 
• When body repairs are carried out on the rear of the vehicle. 
• When the rear bumper is removed or moved out of position. 

1. Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 2 m).
2. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  .

3. Unclip control unit for Lane Change Assist -2-  from the bracket.
4. Disconnect electric plug connection.
