Replacing Antenna Cable From GPS To Central Computer

Information 

• The new lines will be secured to the fastening points for the old lines. 
• The old wire harness remains installed in the vehicle. 
• The old wire harness will only be disconnected/unplugged directly at the connected components. 
• When installing the lines, make sure not to damage the insulation on the lines. 

1. Disconnect main wire harness in right roof pillar area.

2. Replace GPS antenna cable in the rear-view mirror area.
   1. 2.1 Release electric plug connection -2-  for GPS antenna -1-  (-arrow A-  ) and disconnect it -arrow B-  .

   2. 2.2 Cut off electric plug connection 2  on the damaged antenna cable, insulate it and tie it to the main wire harness.
3. Cut off electric plug connection on the damaged GPS antenna cable in the central computer area, insulate it and tie it to the main wire harness.
4. Route the new GPS antenna cable along the main wire harness, guide it through the existing cable ducts and secure it with tie-wraps.

5. Connect electric plug connection -2-  for the GPS antenna -1-  (-arrow B-  ) until the locking mechanism -arrow A-  engages securely.

6. Connect electric plug connection for the GPS antenna cable in the central computer area until the locking mechanism engages securely.
