Removing Front Display And Operator Control Unit

NOTE: Voltage peaks

Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
1. Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).
2. Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

Information

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work.
Do not remove new part from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation and only at the installation position.
Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts.

Information

Protect front display and operator control unit from scratches using a suitable cover.

Unclip cover -1- and guide it out by pulling it downwards.

Unscrew fastening screws -1- .

Loosen front display and operator control unit -1- .
1. 3.1 Lift front display and operator control unit -1- (-arrow A- ) and loosen it by pulling it towards the steering wheel -arrow B- .
2. 3.2 Swivel front display and operator control unit -1- downwards until the electric plug connections are accessible.

Release and disconnect electric plug connections -1- and remove front display and operator control unit -2- .
