Removing Front Display And Operator Control Unit
NOTE:
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
- Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).
- Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.
Information
Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!
- Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work.
- Do not remove new part from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation and only at the installation position.
- Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts.

Protect front display and operator control unit from scratches using a suitable cover.
- Unclip cover -1-
and guide it out by pulling it downwards.

- Unscrew fastening screws -1-

- Loosen front display and operator control unit -1-
.
- 3.1 Lift front display and operator control unit -1- (-arrow A- ) and loosen it by pulling it towards the steering wheel -arrow B- .
- 3.2 Swivel front display and operator control unit -1- downwards until the electric plug connections are accessible.

- Release and disconnect electric plug connections -1- and remove front display and operator control unit -2- .
