Preliminary Work

Information 

Before removing the gateway control unit, the Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (PVTS) must be set to Workshop mode  .

Workshop mode can only be set by the customer  using Car Connect.

An alarm must not be active in the Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (PVTS).

Car Connect

1. Remove trim panel for seat well.

   >  WM, 702919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRIM PANEL FOR SEAT WELL 

2. Loosen battery ground strap.

   978509 LOOSENING AND SECURING GROUND STRAP FOR BATTERY
