Installing Compensating Element
- Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
Move/lock the compensating element to the zero position before installation in the retainer -Arrows- .
After installation of the compensating element in the retainer mount, the end position of the rotary part must be checked. The rotary part of the compensating element must be screwed in as far as the stop (zero position) or it must be checked that this is the case.
Unscrew the stop ring of the compensating element manually until it contacts the tail light housing.
