Removing Headlight Control Unit

Information 

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

• Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work. 
• Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation. 
• Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts. 

Information 

• Only work on removed headlights in a clean work area and on a soft surface.

Installation position

1. Loosen fastening screws on headlight control unit.

2. Remove headlight control unit by pulling it up until the electric plug connection is accessible.
3. Release and pull off electric plug connection.
   1. 3.1 Press locking lug, swivel the connector lock down and open it.
