Removing Rear-View Mirror

NOTIFICATION 

Voltage peaks 

• Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 

→ Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing electrical load.

1. Release electric plug connection for rear-view mirror -arrow a-  and disconnect it -arrow A-  .

2. Tie cord -1-  onto the plug connection -2-  .

3. Press rubber sleeve -3-  on the wire harness inwards -arrow-  .
4. Pull off rubber sleeve -arrow A-  .

5. Unscrew fastening screw for rear-view mirror -arrow B-  .
6. Remove rear-view mirror.

1. 6.1 Press in rubber sleeve on door wire harness -arrow A-  .

   Clear a space in order to make it easier to guide out the wire harness.

2. 6.2 Lift the rear-view mirror up and off -arrow B-  .
3. 6.3 Pull wire harness out of the door.
4. 6.4 Detach the cord (remains in the door).
