Installing Parking Lock Cable

Information 

• Move selector lever on the selector support to position "P" and make sure it is at the rear end position on the transmission. 
• Engage parking lock fully. 

Information 

Check that the cables are routed correctly and without tension so that no chafing occurs. 

1. Route parking lock cable -1-  .
   1. 1.1 Guide parking lock cable -1-  from the passenger compartment through the engine compartment to the transmission.
   2. 1.2 Secure parking lock cable -1-  to the body.

2. Install parking lock cable -2-  on the transmission.
   1. 2.1 Fit and engage parking lock cable -2-  on the support -1-  .
   2. 2.2 Press on parking lock cable -2-  end piece.
3. Clip in parking lock cable -2-  on the support -1-  and lock support -1-  .
