Filling Oil For Final Drive

Information 

Only use oil approved by Porsche in the Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK), see Parts Catalogue.

1. Have a suitable container ready for collecting oil.

   Designation	Filling capacity
   Transmission oil (gear wheel set): Transmission dry	2.9 litre
   Transmission oil (gear wheel set): Change quantity	2.4 - 2.5 litres

   Information 

   Use the old filler plug because the filler plug will have to be unscrewed again when checking and topping up and will only be replaced then.

2. Fill in oil for final drive.
   1. 2.1 Unscrew oil filler screw -1-  .
   2. 2.2 Add oil using a manual metering pump > VAS 6563 - Manual metering pumps, Porsche set  until oil emerges at the filler bore.
   3. 2.3 Screw in old  oil filler screw -1-  and tighten hand-tight.
