Removing Spreader Device (Actuator)

Information
The spreader device (actuator) is fitted on the rear-axle wheel bearing housing. It is the servo motor for the electric parking brake (EPB)
and spreads the parking-brake shoes when actuated.

- Actuator
- Tie-wrap (prevents turning]
- Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-
on the actuator -1-

- Unclip electric wire harness -4-
from the retaining clip -3-

- Unscrew screws -Arrows-
for actuator.

Mounting for actuator
- Unscrew screws for rear brake cover plate.
- Remove actuator

Turn the brake cover plate so that the actuator can be removed.
