- Visually inspect the brake pads for wear.
- 1.1 Only when changing brake fluid at the same time:
Perform visual inspection with wheels removed.

Checking brake pads
- 1.2 Outside of brake pad: Perform visual inspection through the cut-outs in the rim.
- 1.3 Inside of brake pad: Perform visual inspection from below with the vehicle raised.

Perform visual inspection with wheels removed.
