Removing Brake Pedal

1. Only for PDK:  Disengage push rod for brake booster (in the footwell).

   Pressing out push rod

   1. 1.1  > T40024- Unlocking tool-1-  must be inserted ahead of the ball joint on the push rod 2  from below.
   2. 1.2  Press unlocking tool together -arrows A-  and separate the ball joint from the retaining clip 3  (-arrow B-)  .
2. Only for PDK:  Remove pedals.
   1. 2.1  Unscrew and remove fastening screws -arrows-  above the brake booster.

   2. 2.2  Unscrew and remove fastening screws -arrows-  from the brake booster.

   3. 2.3  Screw off inner fastening nuts -arrows-  .

   4. 2.4  Remove pedals.
3. Remove brake pedal.
   1. 3.1  Pull out the lock 1  at the left of the brake pedal shaft -2- (-arrow-)  .

   2. 3.2  Press brake pedal shaft out by a few millimeters from left to right using a suitable tool.
   3. 3.3  Carefully lever the brake pedal shaft -1-  out of the brake pedal -2-  using a suitable tool -arrow A-  .

   4. 3.4  Remove brake pedal -2-  by pulling it downwards -arrow B-  .
