Fill brake fluid reservoir -1- with brake fluid.

1.1 Unscrew threaded cover -2- on brake fluid reservoir -1- .
1.2 Fill brake fluid into the brake fluid reservoir -1- until the brake fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir -1- is between MIN -arrows A- and MAX -arrows B- .
1.3 Tighten threaded cover -2- on brake fluid reservoir -1- .

1.4 Clean off any escaping brake fluid immediately using suitable cleaning aids.

Wash affected components again with water and dry them.

Filling brake fluid reservoir

Bleed the brake system.
> 470107 BLEEDING THE BRAKE SYSTEM
Only for vehicles with manual transmission: Bleed the clutch system.
> 300107 BLEEDING THE CLUTCH SYSTEM
Only for vehicles with manual transmission: Install alarm siren.
> 966519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ALARM SIREN
Install cover.
