Replacing Steering Column Centre

Remove ELV (steering lock) control unit.

Unscrew screw -1- and remove universal joint -2- .

Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
Replace screw securing universal joint to steering column.

Tightening torque for screw securing universal joint to steering column: > Initial tightening 20 Nm (15 ftlb.) > Final tightening + 90 >
