Subsequent Work

  1. Install brake disc

    > 465019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT BRAKE DISC

  2. fit wheel.

    > 440519 Removing and installing wheel

  3. If the central tension bolt was reused (in order to replace the wheel bearing, wheel hub or wheel bearing housing),  tighten lock nut on the wheel side -1-  . Operate the brake while doing this (2 mechanics required). > Tightening torque 460 Nm (339.3 ftlb.)

    Axle nut as an example

  4. Fit hub cap.
  5. Fit cover over spring strut mount (move out of service position).
  6. Check wheel alignment values on the front axle and make adjustments if necessary.

    > 449503 SUSPENSION ALIGNMENT, COMPLETE

    > 4495TW ADJUSTMENT VALUES FOR SUSPENSION ALIGNMENT
