Removing Battery

Information 

• Switch off all loads and remove the ignition key. 
• Do not disconnect the battery while the engine is running. 
• Disconnect and re-connect battery with extreme caution. 
• Do not rub the battery with a dry cloth. 

1. Unscrew screws -1  - and remove holder for compressor (puncture repair) -2  -.

2. Disconnect negative cable -1  -.

3. Disconnect positive cable -2  -.
4. Unscrew screw -A  - and remove battery mount.
5. Unscrew nuts -1 and 2-  on the retaining bar and remove retaining bar.

6. Lift the battery out of the technical equipment space.
