WM, 200101 - Checking Fuel System (High-Pressure Side) For Leaks: Information

Information

The fuel system must always be leak-tested following repairs. The battery must be disconnected in order to perform the leak test.
If the high-pressure pump is removed and installed or replaced, carry out the short test for the high-pressure pump using the PIWIS Tester.
The intake-air distributor is removed completely for the test in the engine compartment.
