Removing Catalytic Converter

Information 

• Pre-treat corroded components with anti-rust agent or heat. 

1. Unscrew nuts -1  - at the connection point for the catalytic converter on the rear silencer.

2. Unscrew nuts -1  - for catalytic converter holder on the cylinder head cover -2  - at the left.

3. Loosen screw -1  - and open clamp -2  - on catalytic converter holder on the right cylinder head cover.

4. Unscrew nuts -1  - securing catalytic converter holder -2  - to engine bracket at the right.

5. Loosen connecting clip -2  - securing catalytic converter -3  - to turbocharger -4  -.
   1. 5.1 Loosen screw -1  - and open connecting clip -2  -.
   2. 5.2 Replace clamp -2  -.

6. Remove catalytic converter in a downward direction.
