Removing Tailpipe Cover

The tailpipe cover is only available together with the tailpipe. 

1. Loosen fastening nut -2  - and slightly open clamp -1  -.

2. Swivel tailpipe cover -1  - down and pull it off the rear silencer.

   1. Tailpipe cover (shown on the Boxster S/Cayman S)
   2. Clamp
   3. Clamping sleeve
3. If the thread or screw on the clamp -2  - is damaged, the clamp can be replaced.
   1. 3.1 Grind down spotweld and replace damaged clamp.
   2. 3.2 Fit tailpipe cover with a new clamp during assembly.
