Removing Lower Trailing Arm

  1. Disconnect angle sensor at the lower holder.
    1. 1.1  Counter the ball joint screw -2-  using an open-ended wrench and use a second open-ended wrench to unscrew the fastening nut -1-. Pull the connecting link -3-  down -a-  .

  2. Remove threaded joint -4-  from the diagonal control arm.
  3. Screw off lock nut -1-  Counter with a Torx screwdriver at the ball-joint pin while doing this.
  4. Press lower trailing arm -2-  off the wheel bearing housing using > 9560 - press-off tool-6-. 
  5. Mark the position of the camber eccentric adjuster -3-  on the rear-axle carrier side section.
  6. Remove camber eccentric adjuster -3-  and remove lower trailing arm.
