Replacing Coolant Regulator Sealing Ring

Information

Coat O-rings, hoses and lines in the cooling system with Kluberplus Gel (Part No. 000.043.205.93).

Tap out old sealing ring through the cut-outs in the housing -Arrows- evenly using a punch.

Tapping out sealing ring
Slide new sealing ring -2- onto > 9845 - press-in device-1- .
The sealing lip must be facing the tool -1- !
1. 2.1 Unscrew the supplied screws -3- .

Fitting new sealing ring
Press in new sealing ring.
1. 3.1 > 9845 - Press-in device-1- must be positioned on the coolant regulator housing -2- .
2. 3.2 Screw in commercially available screws (M6 x 80) -3- .
3. 3.3 Screw on commercially available M6 collar nuts -5- .
4. 3.4 Press the sealing ring in as far as it will go by screwing in the screw -4- .
