Removing Coolant Regulator

WARNING: Caustic fluids

Danger of chemical burns
- → Wear personal protective gear.
- → Ensure that there is good ventilation.
- → Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
- → If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.

Unscrew fastening screws -2- and remove heat shield -1- .

Heat protection on coolant regulator
Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1- on the coolant regulator -2- .
Have a suitable container ready for collecting coolant.
Remove coolant regulator -2- .
1. 4.1 Unscrew and remove fastening screw -3- .
2. 4.2 Remove coolant regulator -2- from the housing and collect emerging coolant.
