Removing And Installing Electric Fan In Engine Compartment

Shown on driver's side; the steps are identical for the passenger's side.

1. Disconnect electric plug connection -2-  .

2. Unclip line bracket -3-  .

3. Disengage coolant hose -4-  from the fan frame -5-  .

4. Unscrew and remove screws -6-  , unclip retaining lugs -7-  and remove fan frame -5 -  .

5. Cut tie-wrap -8-  and disengage electric wire harness -9-  from the fan frame.

6. Unscrew nuts -10-  and remove electric fan -1-  .

7. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

   Tightening torque for nut securing electric fan to fan frame: > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
