Installing High-Pressure Pump

- Coat the thread of the union nut for the high-pressure line with Microgleit DF977S lubricant (Part No. 000.043.209.35).
- Replace seals and O-rings and grease with Kluber Syntheso Glep (Part No. 000.043.204.68).
- Replace spring band clamp, check low-pressure hose for damage and replace it if necessary.
Replace the two spring band clamps when replacing the low-pressure hose!
- Before installation, grease the sealing surface of the high-pressure pump with a light coating of Kluber Syntheso Glep.
- Further installation is performed in reverse order to removal.
Fastening screws on high-pressure pump > Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.) .
Union nut on high-pressure line > Tightening torque 25 Nm (19 ftlb.) .
Union nut for high-pressure line on new type of high-pressure pump > Tightening torque 25 Nm (19 ftlb.)
Fastening screw for low-pressure line holder > Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.) .
