Removing Vibration Damper

1. 1.1 Unscrew fastening screws -1-  .
2. 1.2 Remove crash reinforcement from the body -2-  by pulling it upwards.

1. 2.1 Unscrew fastening screws -2-  .
2. 2.2 Remove crash reinforcement from the engine -1-  .

1. 3.1 Turn vibration damper -1-  clockwise using > 9773 - turning device-3-  until one staking bore in the vibration damper -1-  is flush with the crankcase bore.

   Information 

   A locating pin from the special tool set > 9595/1 - Locating pins  , for example, is ideal for securing components.

2. 3.2 Secure the vibration damper -1-  using a suitable tool -4-  .
3. 3.3 Unscrew fastening screws -2-  .
4. 3.4 Remove securing tool -4-  .
5. 3.5 Remove vibration damper -1-  .
