Removing and installing flywheel
- Leaks
- Risk of damage to the flywheel and adjacent components
- → Be very careful during removal and installation.

Information
- Check the friction surface of the flywheel.
- Replace flywheel if it is damaged or discoloured.
- > 9538/1 - Toothed segment-1-
must be fitted on the engine flange as a counter-hold tool.
Information
A commercially available socket, for example, is ideal as a spacer.
- 1.1 > 9538/1 - Toothed segment-1- must be fitted on the engine flange using original flange screw -3- , > 9538/2 - holder-2- and spacer -4- .
Brace
- Loosen fastening screws -5-
on the flywheel -2-
evenly and in diagonally opposite sequence.
Dual-mass flywheel MT
- Remove counter-hold tool.
- Unscrew fastening screws and remove flywheel from the crankshaft.
