Installing Front Brake Disc
- If the brake discs were replaced: Replace disc brake pads.
- Prepare for installing the brake discs.
- 2.1 Visually inspect all parts to make sure they are in perfect condition and replace them if necessary.
- 2.2 Clean the levelling and centering surfaces on the brake disc and wheel hub.
- 2.3
Apply a very thin coat of Optimoly TA (aluminium paste) to the centering surface on the wheel hub.

The left and right brake disc must not be interchanged during assembly.
The part number serves as the distinguishing feature. The flat surfaces of the brake discs are also marked R or L.

Replace brake calliper fastening screws each time they are removed.
- Further installation is performed in reverse order to removal.
Fastening screws securing brake calliper to wheel carrier > Tightening torque 85 Nm (62.7 ftlb.)
Fastening screws securing brake disc to wheel hub > Tightening torque 5 Nm (3.7 ftlb.)
Fastening screw for holder on wheel bearing housing > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.4 ftlb.)
