Inspection During Intermediate Maintenance

  1. Visually inspect the brake pads for wear.
    1. 1.1 Only when changing brake fluid at the same time:  Perform visual inspection with wheels removed.

      A mirror can be used as an aid -arrow-  .

      Checking brake pads

    2. 1.2  Outside of brake pad: Perform visual inspection through the cut-outs in the rim.
    3. 1.3  Inside of brake pad: Perform visual inspection from below with the vehicle raised.
