Installing Front Seat Cover

Information 

Fasten cover to the padding, starting from the inside.

1. Install cushion clips -1-  in the integrated metal strut at the front -2-  of the front seat cover -3-  .

2. Place front seat cover -3-  on the padding -4-  (-arrows-  ) and align it.
3. Install cushion clips -1-  using > V.A.G 1634B - cushion clip pliers  at the rear between the integrated metal struts -5-  of the padding and the metal struts -2-  for the front seat cover -3-  .

4. Join integrated metal struts -4-  of the padding to metal struts -3-  of the front seat cover using cushion clips -2-  .
5. Fold front seat cover -1-  outwards -arrows-  .

6. Check clips -1-  and replace them if necessary.
7. Position longitudinal strut for front seat cover at the left and right -1-  at the cut-outs provided on the padding and clip them into the seat frame -3-  .

8. Fit cover over the padding without creases.
9. Clip cover piping -1-  into the seat frame all the way around -arrow-  .

10. Connect electric plug connections -1-  for seat heating -arrows-  .

11. Clip rear cover piping onto the seat frame -arrows-  .
