Removing And Installing (Central) Headlight Control Unit

NOTIFICATION 

Voltage peaks 

• Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 
  • Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

Information 

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

• Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work. 
• Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation. 
• Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts. 

1. Unscrew nuts -1-  .
2. Loosen (central) headlight control unit -2-  until the electric plug connection is accessible.

3. Disconnect electric plug connection -1-  and remove (central) headlight control unit -2-  from the vehicle.

4. Installation is performed in reverse order.
